Marketplace Sales Executive

Our client’s sales team drives the entire company forward by bringing their software platform and marketplace services to new customers – every single day. They are a tight-knit, high-energy crew that comprises Business Development and Sales Executives. They’re looking for an autonomous Sales Executive who will be responsible for prospecting, engaging, and signing on eCommerce brands to use their Marketplace agency services and marketplace performance management technology, Omnifi.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about retail, have a background in advertising / digital media and possess a “hunter mentality” with an ability to build credibility with c-suite personas in Marketing and eCommerce.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the sales process including opening and developing new business, closing add-on and incremental business, determining needs, and proposing compelling programs for prospective clients
  • Develop a sales territory plan to exceed growth and revenue goals.
  • Partner with Sales Development Representative (SDR) to plan and achieve new meeting targets
  • Prospect and schedule new appointments through online and offline tools including attending industry trade-shows and conferences
  • Provide weekly accurate forecasts against goals utilizing Hubspot CRM tool
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships in prospects’ eCommerceand Marketing teams by establishing “trusted advisor” status with prospects
  • Provide timely market feedback to product team to help shape product roadmap and competitive positioning

 Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals
  • Demonstrated success at growing revenue at an entrepreneurial company
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone and email, to small and medium size groups
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Emotionally intelligent, high energy, and positive; comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment  
  • Ability/willingness to travel, as needed
  • Experience in advertising sales, digital media, or Ad/Marketing Tech a plus
