Territory Manager

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Builds strong relationships with key personnel in the given region, while able to cover procedures with clinical proficiency and business acumen
  • Assists in building and implementing a sales plan for the assigned area, managing and tracking customer sales activity and prospective customer initiatives, achieving sales targets, reporting on sales progress and competitor and customer activities to sales leader, and assuring that activity is properly entered into the management system to ensure flawless execution of product delivery to the customer
  • Plans, coordinates and executes local educational and sales events, with the support of other internal resources, intended to augment the business and help to deliver assigned sales goals
  • Supports referral network of key personnel
  • Can effectively describe our client’s products and services and discusses payment options
  • Develops techniques to identify and remove barriers to a converted case
  • Gathers provider/staff/patient feedback on products, services, or policies and communicates information to our client’s proper channels
  • Gain extensive product knowledge and be an ambassador of our client
  • Think creatively about ways in which our client can optimize each customer’s experience and increase conversion

Education/Experience/Technological Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associate degree preferred not required
  • 2 or more years of proven sales experience
  • Ability to become technically proficient with the specific product line
  • Experience dealing with people, either in a sales or service environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence others
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the responsibilities of the position, the worker may exert up to 10 pounds of force frequently or 20 pounds occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Travel Requirements:

Up to 95% predominantly by car – depending on territory 0% to 15% overnight stays as well as air travel might be required.

$65-85k base (DOE)

$144k OTE (Year 1)
