VP of Sales and Marketing

Our client, a global, 200 person organization bringing in $230M annually, is looking for a strategic business development and relationship manager to become their next Strategic Sales and Product Executive.

Our client has built their success by innovating and manufacturing the next generation of housewares and outdoor grills. This role will focus exclusively on the continued success of their outdoor grill product line.

You’ll play an active part in sales, product development and overall market strategy as you partner with buyers from existing customers including Walmart, Lowe’s, Canadian Tire Company, Pit Boss Grills, OONI and other big box retailers.

YOU WILL


  • Primarily drive sales and revenue through strategic omnichannel management
  • Grow existing and build new strong and trustworthy relationships with retail buyers and national brand product development teams
  • Stay ahead of the curve in outdoor grilling trends and help establish gaps in the market that will drive the next year’s line of innovative or value products
  • Coordinate between factories and buyers to ensure timely product delivery
  • Travel with retail buyers to the manufacturing site in China for collaboration sessions in the showroom and testing facility
  • Attend periodic trade shows for industry insight and networking
  • Travel to retailers and national brand customers within the U.S, Canada and occasionally Europe
  • Work with retail partners to design and execute marketing and sales strategies to increase product presence across online and brick and mortar retailers

TO BE SUCCESSFUL,
YOU SHOULD HAVE


  • 10 years experience working in the sales, design, development and sales cycle of seasonal, outdoor products (ideally, BBQs/grills or related products)
  • International business practices and etiquette (especially in China)
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a regular basis
